Who We Are

Upon reviving itself from nonexistence in late 2003, the Idaho County Democratic Party identified a primary goal: bringing a 2-party political milieu back to the county. That goal was reached in 2004 and has been sustained since then.

Many people have been energetically involved in the party's meetings, activities, events, caucuses, and campaigns. You'll find listed below a small number of those people — the ICDP's current precinct captains and leadership team members. (Please scroll down.)

In January 2006, the party formalized a set of governing ideas that guide us in our work and define who we are. Please see "Our Governing Ideas" below.

In January 2009, we began the process of transitioning our organization from election 2008 mode to activist mode. Activism will be our 2009 focus.
